    • Statistics shared (map box unlocks amount of the last synced week and total amount as well as their daily-usage-streaks)

2. How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Our Company with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

  • Run the app in the foreground and/or background (if permission given) and you update your location and thus update your map box count shared in the leaderboard.
  • Use your collected coins to buy items within the shop page.
  • On first startup, Firebase Authentification generates an unique anonymous account, with the help of a user-agent and your IP-address to enable stronger security.
  • The map data server is protected with CloudFlare against attacks, thus downloaded map data are forwarded to CloudFlare servers with increased performance. This does not happen after you have cached the map data on your device.
  • If agreed apon to use third-party analytics
    • Firebase Crashlytics, will report the stack traces associated with the app crash, if one occurs.
    • Firebase Performance, will track your performance, for example how long the app startup took on your device.
    • Firebase Analytics records besides your geolocation, switching between pages within the app.

3. How will we use your data?

Our Company collects your data so that we can:

  • When signed into the leaderboard, the provided data (daily streak, weekly unlocks and total unlocks) is being processed and openly made available for other users inside the app.
  • Lastly upon analysis of the data, it is used to improve the product itself.

4. How do we store your data?

Our Company securely stores your data on a Firestore Database at Google within the eur3 (europe-west) region. we value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

To secure our website and to optimize loading times, we use the CloudFlare CDN (content delivery network. This is a service of Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, California 94107, USA, referred to as “CloudFlare”.

If you access our website, your queries are forwarded to CloudFlare servers. Statistical access data about your visit to our website is collected and CloudFlare stores a cookie on your terminal device via your browser.

The data is used by CloudFlare for statistical evaluations of the accesses as well as for the security and optimization of the offer.
